Sierre Zinal race

Emile Chouriet, dynamic partner

Partner of the prestigious mountain race that took place on Sunday, 12 August, the Emile Chouriet Manufacture honoured three competitors of this sporting event, staged in the majestic Valais Alps and set over a 31 km course, including 2,200m of climb and 1,100m of downhill.

The Spanish six-time winner, Kilian Jornet, was awarded a watch from the Challenger Cliff collection. Directly inspired by the world of mountaineering, this model offers a subtle balance between elegance and power, beauty and strength. The sharp and racy design of the dial is reminiscent of rock and ice and is a tribute to the adrenaline of the high mountains.

The Kenyan Lucy Wambui Murigi, who won the women's award, received a watch from the Fair Lady collection. As did another participant of this great, popular, sporty race, whose bib was drawn at random from among some 4,900 registered competitors.

The Fair Lady collection portrays the art of watchmaking according to Emile Chouriet Manufacture. The precision of "Made in Switzerland" watches combines here with a racy and elegant design that reflects the techniques of origami and guilloche.

Sierre-Zinal 2018 was once again magnificently organised, set in a unique and traditional atmosphere, combining effort, regularity and performance.

This approach is in perfect harmony with the values of the Emile Chouriet Manufacture in Geneva, which perpetuates the art of watchmaking and strives to transmit Swiss know-how.

Emile Chouriet Manufacture is always keen to combine quality and the desire for results and is delighted by its fruitful partnership with Sierre-Zinal. So much so, it will continue its partnership, for the 2019 edition, with this legendary race, which is now integrated into the Golden Trail World Circuit, which includes the 5 most prestigious mountain races in the world.
